(Supplied)SA Police Commissioner Grant Stevens has urged the driver to come forward."We are looking for a small silver sedan. We have captured it on CCTV," he said."It was simply a coincidence that police were in the very near vicinity at the time."What happened at Hillcrest last night was a tragic situation where a young woman’s lost her life as a result of being hit by a vehicle."The crash happened near Forbes Street at Hillcrest. (ABC News: Lincoln Rothall)The commissioner asked anyone with information about the car, which could now have front-end damage, or the driver to "contact Crime Stoppers or contact police directly"."It is in their [the driver's] best interests to come forward as quickly as possible," he said.The woman's death was the 29th on the state's roads since the start of this year.Police tried to perform CPR but the woman could not be saved.
