(ABC News: Michael Clements)In short:A 20-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car at Hillcrest on Tuesday night.Witnesses have described seeing a silver sedan that did not stop after the crash.What's next?Police are appealing for dashcam footage, CCTV and further witnesses.abc.net.au/news/pedestrian-killed-in-hit-and-run-crash-at-hillcrest/105262192Link copiedShareShare articleA 20-year-old pedestrian has been killed in a hit-and-run crash in Adelaide's north-east.The young woman was struck on North East Road at Hillcrest, near Forbes Street and a service station, on Tuesday night.Emergency services attended the scene at about 11pm."Sadly, there was nothing police or paramedics could do, and the 20-year-old woman from Greenacres was pronounced deceased," police said.Major Crash investigators have examined the scene and spoken to witnesses, who reported that a silver sedan was involved.Police said the car did not stop and they were now urging the driver to come forward.Police have asked for any other witnesses — as well as drivers with dashcam footage, "including of the woman's presence on the roadway before the fatal crash" — to contact them.They are also seeking CCTV footage and have asked anyone with information about the car, which they said could now have front-end damage, to contact Crime Stoppers.The woman was the 29th person killed on the state's roads this year.Her death came just hours after a 17-year-old boy from Gawler Belt suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on Haydon Road at Kangaroo Flat.Police said the young driver hit a heavy roller parked on the roadside.The boy was flown to hospital.
