In both Doncaster and North Tyneside, Labour's majority was less than 1,000.Most of the 23 council results are expected on Friday afternoon, but overnight counts have seen Reform taking seats from both Conservatives and Labour. So far in Northumberland, Staffordshire and Lincolnshire, Reform UK are in the lead, while the Conservatives have the most council seats in Hertfordshire.These parts of the country were expected to be places where support for Reform would be greatest.New mayorsIn Greater Lincolnshire, former Conservative MP Andrea Jenkyns, who defected to Reform in November, is predicted to become the area's first mayor, with a strong lead over her closest opponent, Conservative Rob Waltham.Labour has held on to three of its mayoralties, in North Tyneside, Doncaster, and the West of England.
