Despite weak industrial production data and mixed corporate earnings, strong foreign and domestic institutional inflows continued to support market sentiment. Analysts highlighted persistent concerns over global growth, trade tariffs, and earnings performance. However, derivatives data suggests a gradual bullish shift, with the Put-Call Ratio climbing to 1.17 and robust put writing at the 24,000 level indicating firm support. India’s volatility index (VIX) edged lower to 16.94, though it remains above the cautionary threshold of 15.
