His 2022 album, Un Verano Sin Ti, is the most streamed release in the platform's history.Loading YouTube contentHe's also something of a fashion icon, his colourful and stylish dress sense inspiring many artists to embrace a new form of masculinity through their dress, while his recent turn as an underwear model caught plenty of attention. In 2022, he broke world record for the highest-grossing tour in a calendar year, clocking up a tidy $US435 million in ticket sales across 81 stops. In 2023, he became the first Latin artist to headline the famous Coachella music festival. In recent weeks he has sold 400,000 tickets across a 30-show residency in his home country of Puerto Rico — which kicks off in July — suggesting that demand for tickets for his first ever Australian stop will likely be intense.Debí Tirar Más Fotos was released in January and debuted at number one on the US Billboard charts. The album sees him further embrace his love for Puerto Rico, blending local genres like reggaeton, plena and jíbaro music with lyrics that interrogate his country's social and political situations.Where else is he touring? This morning's announcement of Bad Bunny's first Australian show came as part of his unveiling of a world tour, where the singer will play stadiums in Europe for the first time in more than half a decade and his first shows in Latin America since 2022.Loading Instagram contentLast year saw Bad Bunny play extensively in the United States, so it stands to reason that his focus is elsewhere for the time being. In November, after the Puerto Rican residency ends, he'll kick off his tour in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic before visiting Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Poland, Italy and finishing up in Belgium in July of 2026.Despite being one of the world's most in-demand live artists, Bad Bunny has plenty of territories still to visit. As well as marking his first Australian trip, this tour will also see the singer visit major markets like Brazil and Japan for the first time ever.Bad Bunny will play the Sydney Showground on February 28, 2026, with tickets on sale from 11am local time this Friday.Posted 56m ago56 minutes agoTue 6 May 2025 at 5:27amShare optionsCopy linkFacebookX (formerly Twitter)Top StoriesDying lunch guest's 'extremely abnormal' blood test results raised hospital alarm, court hearsLIVEPhoto shows A digital drawing of Erin Patterson wearing a pink shirtNationals deputy leader 'shattered' she will likely lose Senate seatLIVEPhoto shows Perin Davey listens to a press conference by Water Minister Tanya Plibersek at Parliament HouseWhat's causing an unprecedented and deadly disease outbreak in Queensland?Topic:Infectious DiseasesPhoto shows A middle-aged man wearing a grey singlet and beige cap sits in his backyard.Could Labor's thumping election win put tax reform back on the agenda?Topic:TaxPhoto shows A man sitting on a stage wearing a suit and tie.Liberal preferences may help elect Climate 200-backed independent who vows to end gasTopic:ElectionsPhoto shows Kate Hulett and her supporters at an election night functionRelated storiesFrom Zendaya's double looks to Chris Hemsworth's debut, see all the glamour from the Met Gala – as it happenedTopic:Arts, Culture and EntertainmentPhoto shows Zendaya looks over her shoulder, a bouquet of flowers in her hair.Mexican president asks Bad Bunny to perform free for 'victims of fraud'Topic:Music IndustryPhoto shows A man dressed in sunglasses a jacket with golden features walks across a professionally lit stageRelated topicsArts, Culture and EntertainmentAustraliaMusicTop StoriesDying lunch guest's 'extremely abnormal' blood test results raised hospital alarm, court hearsTopic:Law, Crime and JusticePhoto shows A digital drawing of Erin Patterson wearing a pink shirtNationals deputy leader 'shattered' she will likely lose Senate seatTopic:ElectionsWhat's causing an unprecedented and deadly disease outbreak in Queensland?Topic:Infectious DiseasesCould Labor's thumping election win put tax reform back on the agenda?Topic:TaxLiberal preferences may help elect Climate 200-backed independent who vows to end gasTopic:ElectionsJust InOne of music's biggest stars announces first Australian showTopic:Arts, Culture and Entertainment56m ago56 minutes agoTue 6 May 2025 at 5:27amTrump's film tariffs throws Gold Coast vision into doubt, industry saysTopic:Film Industry58m ago58 minutes agoTue 6 May 2025 at 5:25amHuni 'comfortable being me' ahead of momentous opportunityTopic:Boxing1h ago1 hours agoTue 6 May 2025 at 5:24amTeenagers clocked going 120kph on e-bike but no charges laidTopic:Electric Vehicles3m ago3 minutes agoTue 6 May 2025 at 6:21amMore Just InBack to top
