(Water Resources)An amendment was made to Rule 27(b) (3) of the Maharashtra Begging Prohibition Rules, 1964 under the Mumbai Begging Prohibition Act, 1951, increasing the daily allowance for people in almshouses from Rs 5 to Rs 40, marking the first change since 1964. (Women and Child Development)Under the PM-YASASVI umbrella scheme, revised guidelines issued by the Central Government for the years 2021-22 to 2025-26 will be implemented for the Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for students in the OBC, EBC and DNT categories.
