Here's what we know so far about the case, based on material put to the jury.Despite feeling unwell, the teenager said Ms Patterson insisted on driving him about 90 kilometres to attend a flying school lesson in Tyabb.They had almost reached their destination when the lesson was cancelled due to bad weather, the boy said.Ms Patterson turned the car around to go home, making a quick stop at a Koo Wee Rup rest stop where she bought her second coffee for the day, the court heard.Ms Patterson's son said his mother did not stop to use the toilet, but dashed inside her home when they returned to Leongatha."She raced to the front door and said 'I need to go to the toilet'," he said.In separate pre-recorded interviews, the boy and his sister said that night, Ms Patterson told them they would be eating leftovers from lunch the previous day. She also nodded along as he recounted details, and chuckled when he told the police officer that she was a keen cook."She likes cooking brownies, she loves her roasts," he said.Prosecutors allege Ms Patterson deliberately poisoned the lunch guests, but that she never served herself or her children contaminated food. Her defence lawyers argue that she had no intention of harming her relatives or serving them death cap mushrooms.Ms Patterson was given the all-clear by doctors days after the lunch. That week, Don and Gail Patterson and Heather Wilkinson died in hospital.
